  • New England Patriots had an absoultely horrid first half. Tom Brady couldn’t make a pass and when he actually could, they weren’t accurate at all. The offense line continually allowed multiple Miami Dolphins to collapse the pocket and get to Brady. Receivers failed to make plays. Reggie Bush ran into the heart of the D’ without fear. Nothing went well.

The second half was an entirely different story. Brady was on point with all his passes. The O-line shored up and protected Brady. Receivers and Tight Ends were breaking tackles after the catch. Vince Wilfork plugged up the holes that Bush was running through.

The point of all this wasn’t so much to recap what happened during the game but to talk about how the die hard fans in New England are miserable no matter what the outcome. They complain how we cannot continue to play like this. How Super Bowl champions are not made from lowly ranked defenses. That we cannot abandon the run and be so one dimensional. Etc.

Cut the sky is falling drama. They made halftime adjustments after a miserably embarrassing 1st half and executed an impressive comeback; something I recall the old super bowl teams doing quite often.

The offensive line solidified (using TWO rookies at both tackle spots btw) and Brady had all day in the 2nd half to find the open guy. I hate how people will ignore any of the good things and don’t ever appreciate a victory with this team anymore. I seriously understand how every other fanbase despises us.
